5 Guilty Pleasures

Thursday, 12 January, 2006

I've been tagged by Little which makes me feel pretty special and gives me something to blog about (I could blog about work but do you really want to know that I've been in the AV's office all week, gawking at his two monitors [which are really cool by the way], playing CDs while scanning in/typing up old D. Broughton Knox articles/talks [his handwriting is worse than mine!] and compiling Bible study material for upcoming publications—except I found out today that most of the stuff I'd been working on had already been done but no one knew except for Tony and he had been on holidays and had only arrived back today. “I want to crawl into a hole,” I said to him and Emma after he told me and they laughed).

So here goes:

Ground Rules: The first player of this “game” starts with the topic, “5 Guilty Pleasures” and people who get tagged need to write an blog entry about their 5 Guilty Pleasures as well as state this rule. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

(I'm not sure how the concept of “game” fits into this but anyway ...)

  1. Popcorn. I LOVE popcorn! But I only like the normal stuff—I don't like caramel popcorn (and that Greater Union chocolate popcorn is reported to be disgusting so don't buy it!), I don't like rainbow coloured popcorn, I don't like anything that's sweet (how could sweet go with popcorn???)—I just like normal butter flavoured popcorn. I try to restrain myself by only ever having it when I go out to the cinema to watch a movie or when I'm having it with other people. Related on the food thing are Chinese peanuts, dried squid and going out for hot breakfast ... mmm ...
  2. Staying up really late reading in bed. Husbands complains though so don't do that much anymore.
  3. Sleeping in until lunchtime and spending the whole day in PJ's. Unless I have to see someone—then I shower and change.
  4. Finding myself linked to on other people's blogs. I think, “Isn't it nice that people read me and actually think that I have said something worth linking to!” (Even if they're disagreeing with what I said!)
  5. Singing into microphones. My voice is so LOUD!

(Reading this article makes me wonder if I got the concept right ...

Anyways, I'm tagging ...

  1. Bec
  2. Craig
  3. Elsie
  4. Guan
  5. Kathleen
