I had this beautiful cream yarn I got from Lincraft (and they now have patterns online) last September for 99c a ball. It's 50% microviscose, 35% merino and 15% baby alpaca (“Cat” from Lana Grossa. I was going to make another scarf/shawl with it—and I even started one—but I was getting rather bored of that pattern. I also had these fabulous beads which reminded me of little candies so I thought I would combine the two. So I used this trellis scarf pattern from Bendigo Woollen Mills and made up the bead patterns as I went along. I was trying to do lots of swirls and things. I think it worked.
Anyway, when I finished, I thought, “Who can I give this to?” Bron was the obvious choice. “It's a Dr Who scarf!” she squealed when she saw it. Here's her wearing it (with Hannah who also took a liking to it):

i love my Dr Who scarf!!! - even when its not being worn, its an artwork in my room. and I have introduced it to my Dr who tardis tin. I think Tom Baker was jealous.
