Ben A's blog entry on Hillsong Church is an interesting read and seems to reinforce a lot of things from this article that appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald last year. Ben asks, “Is Hillsong a cult? ... Are they actually preaching the gospel?” From what he wrote, it seems like they are preaching a lopsided gospel—a gospel that is more anthropocentric than theocentric. That's sad.Posted in:

I am copping some flak for posting that; perhaps I should have been a bit less critical? Or perhaps it’s because Hillsong has a number of ‘converts’ who are opposed to the evangelical hermeneutic?
