Quick knitting post. Kurt and Kelly were expecting their baby in January, and after finishing a Christmas present (oh, I didn't blog about that; maybe later …), I decided to knit something for that baby. I knew it was going to be a girl, and I sort of knew when she'd be entering the world, but it turned out to be a bit sooner than I thought! So I had to get my skates on. Anyway, I knitted her this dress: Bliss from Petite Purls. The yarn is Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in the colour “Heather”. I'm not a huge fan of the colour; I've only got it because I ordered the yarn a while ago for a project I never made for someone who I thought would like the colour. Anyway, I hope it suits Grace!
However, I sized it for 12 months so it will be a little while before she can wear it …

Finished dress with straps with ends woven in:

And once again, Astrid modelled for me, even though the dress was a little large on her (scary that it's sized for a one-year-old and yet it practically fits her!)
