Don’t do this at home, kids

Thursday, 08 January, 2004

I have discovered this evening, while scanning through our referrer logs, that this blogger has reproduced my entire “Denominations” article on his blog. While I am flattered that he bothered to link to it all, I did ask him very nicely to take down the text and just link to us instead. I might be wrong but I think it's standard blog etiquette to link to people, not completely reproduce their material.

Indeed. Also might save said linker the trouble and space associated with posting entire article.

I like a little [ via link ] so you can go look for yourself, find other nice people’s blogs and do some more exploring of your own.

What is the current state of blog etiquette?

Roger, got your comment and rectified that.
