I am now employed! This morning the Centre for Asia Pacific Social Transformation Studies (CAPSTRANS) rang me up and offered me a Jobshare admin position (that's the one I had an interview for several weeks ago). Praise God!
I will now be working Monday (9-5), Tuesday (9-6) and Wednesday (8-3). On Mondays after work I will attend TEAM (Training in Evangelism in Ministry) when it is on. On Tuesday I think I'll go to lunch after ECU main meeting. On Wednesdays I think I'll go to ECU main meeting. My MTS days will now be Thursday and Friday. Thursdays normally go like this:
07:30-9:00: Play badminton with people at the Unigym. (I am exceedingly bad at badminton but I like shuttlecocks more than tennis balls.)
09:00-11:00: Girls' staff meeting at Richard and Bronwyn's.
11:30-12:30: Meet up with Fi.
12:30-1:30: Arts/Creative Arts Faculty Bible Study.
13:30-14:30: Prayer meeting.
14:30-15:30: Meet up with Karen.
15:30-16:30: Meet up with Marina (hopefully).
16:30-19:30: Go home, make dinner and prepare for church Bible Study.
19:30-21:30: Church Bible Study.
10:30: Sleep.
So far I've haven't done much on a Friday but the other people on the MTS team reckon that they can find plenty of things for me to do to make myself useful!

Praise God! That’s really exciting Karen!! ^_^
Congratulations, Karen! That’s great news!
Excellent to hear. The more I see Christians looking around for work, the more I see God taking care of them (that’s something that I’ve grown up being fairly skeptical of, being an Anglican by birth).
It doesn’t sound like there’s much rest in your week, though.
Yes, I know. Must jealously keep Saturdays free ...
That’s really great news for you. Nice to be able to cut the travelling for work too.
Shalom,
Jan
