Foods that I love but which I should give up due to high cholesterol

Tuesday, 30 November, 2004

The stupid thing is I don't even eat the above very often anyway :(.

On an unrelated note, Cooking: A Commonsense Guide is a really great cookbook because it has simple and easy recipes and it has pictures of stuff in the front for dummies like me who don't know their cuts of meat or their herbs. One day I should add it to my library ... one day ...

I only ever drink full-cream milk on camps and conferences, and having had low-fat milk for at least eight years, full-cream now tastes funny. The moral of this story? Don’t change if you particularly like the taste of full-cream.

Chicken in a biscuit are yukky!

Surely you can eat those things every now and then? It’s not like you can never eat them again, period, right?

I agree with Ben on the topic of milk.

Duck? Egg Noodles? Coconut? Nooo!!! I thought they were all okay… I mean, croissants are obviously going to be bad with all that butter, but surely not egg noodles.

Lousy internet spoiling everything.

Oh well, in heaven there’s no cholesterol to worry about.

Naah, if you don’t eat it often anyway, then there’s no point putting a burden on yourself and excluding things you enjoy.

Delivered?? Maybe if I was rich like you, Philip! Little, all these foods come under the category of “AVOID”.

I can have fish though. Fish is apparently good for me. I had Atlantic salmon for lunch today (they had a farewell lunch for me). It was YUMMY!!! smile

I recently bough the aforementioned commonsense cookbook, and I agree, it’s excellent. I have no idea about cuts of meat either!

Oh well, there goes that gift idea…

You are rich in spirit, I am poor in spirit - its hard to keep a balance.
