Lessening stress

Silly joke for the day:

Q: What do you do if you're attacked by a troupe of circus performers?

A: Go for the juggler.

(Source.)

I found a funny typo today too but I don't think I'm allowed to share that one. One really shouldn't make fun of authors in the editing stage.

So today I finished editing Briefing #341. I don't normally work at MM on Tuesdays but I went in anyway and did about five hours for them before dashing over to CASE. But Greg wasn't in and the kitchen was shut. He called me as I was buying my lunch over the road to tell me what was going on. So I did what I could in the office and then dashed back to MM for another couple of hours of web stuff and having my first read of the MTS handbook. I am thinking of starting a blogging series about MTS. I'm not the No. 1 authority on the subject but since Jo asked me if I had any words of wisdom, I've been thinking about what I would say to people starting or doing MTS.

I left the office at 4:30, parked near the Golden Kingdom (which doesn't seem like a very interesting kingdom to me), then walked back to meet George for coffee—well, milkshakes and thickshakes. I had one that was hazelnut flavour and quite enjoyed it. George had to go to her Pilates class so I walked back to the Golden Kingdom and had dinner with my mum. And then home to sort out a month's worth of receipts and the stack of paper on my desk.

And I can say with a great amount of satisfaction that I have finished my Christmas shopping thanks to my wonderful Ben.

Do share the funny typo! Does it have anything to do with Andrew M’s review of Kevin Giles? (Andrew is my boss & by strange twist of fate, I heard your voicemail message for him at work yesterday… i never imagined you sounding quite so american!)
=)

Wow, the world gets smaller and smaller! No, it had nothing to do with Andrew M; it was in the MTS handbook. I might get into trouble ...
