Neil headed to Australia

Wednesday, 23 June, 2004

It looks like Neil will be headed to Australia next year (15-17 July). Too bad he's not coming to my state—he'll be in Melbourne for the Continuum 3 conference. Not sure if I can justify the $80 convention price. I've never been to a literature convention before. The funny thing is, one of the other big guests for this convention is Richard Harland who used to lecture me in first year English. He was a great lecturer! He used to sing and play guitar at our very last class for the semester. I've only read one of his books (The Dark Edge) which I thought was terrible, but he may have improved since.
