Greetings to you from the other side of the world. It is nearly noon here yesterday for your tomorrow. We are currently in Midland on the edge of Georgian Bay, staying with family friends. The house is packed with people—four generations' worth—and there's a clutch of kids running about. The weather has gone cool right on cue after a blazing summer. So far, we have spent one day on a plane (and a very long day that was too!), one day in Hamilton (think Wollongong except the escarpment goes all the way around on three sides and there's no beach), one day at Niagara (the falls and Niagara-on-the-lake where I finally found a bell-shaped black felt cloche hat), one day in Toronto (skulking about Casa Loma and the Eaton Centre and drooling over Anansi Boys which is probably too expensive to buy here), and this is now our second day in Midland. Tomorrow we will spend most of another day on a plane to LA. Not sure if I'll get time to write to you from there but we'll see.
As Ben would say, “I am fine, the weather is here.”

Hmm, I wonder if I should have changed that to local time. It’s Sunday here, not Monday.
Goodness me! Galaxy is listening Anansi Boys at $60 HB. Maybe I should buy it here ...
Odd - it’s thirty-something (or 29-something?) at Pulp Fiction.
So glad you finally found the hat!
Have Pulp Fiction got some really good deal? I checked Dymocks and they only listed the audio book, I checked HarperCollins Australia and they haven’t got it listed at all, I checked Angus & Robertson and they say $60. Don’t know what to do now ...
Trade paperback is $32.95 at Pulp Fiction in Brisbane. Their number is (07)3236 2750. Let me know if you want anything picked up.
