I finished my article for Magnolia but my second article for Salt just isn't happening. Where does the time go? Why am I always running out of it? On Monday I was bleary-eyed from staying up until 1, but I still managed to do Briefing things and edit two “From the Dean” pieces. I came home with a splitting headache, cooked dinner, watched television and went to bed really early.
On Tuesday I went to New College and actually got sit down with my new direct boss, Trevor, to chat with him about stuff. I left at 2:30, did the grocery shopping (which took one and a half hours, and my downstairs neighbour—the wife—shocked me by picking up the 25kg sack of rice I had just bought and carrying it up two flights of stairs), tried to do work but couldn't, went to Bible study and then came home—again with another headache.
On Wednesday I slept in and spent some time with Ben. He dropped me at work at 9:30 (yay! I like lifts!). I did more Briefing things (will this Briefing ever go away???) and edited two more “From the Dean” pieces. Tony was in in the late afternoon so I got to touch base with him. I also got photographed for a Briefing ad (but no one will recognise me because my head's been cut off and the star I normally wear has been Photoshopped out). Then Ben picked me up at 6, we had leftovers for dinner, I went to Pilates (which was, again, a killer of a workout), Naomi and I prayed in the car, and I came home and did the dishes and had a shower.
Today I edited seven “From the Deans” which may be a record—I'm not sure—but anyway, that leaves 11 to go. Yay me! If I'm really productive, it will be six tomorrow, five next week, read through the whole thing and then it will be over. I came home and we had coconut chili chicken (which Ben had made the night before) for dinner and watched some taped television. The phone kept ringing though, and I still had to send CASE news, so I didn't really get to my Salt article until 9:30.
So now you understand why I'm exhausted and have no time to do anything. Plus I think I'm getting a sore throat so I need to go to bed. Now. Goodnight.

Did you want to postpone tonight?
Not really. But I’ll see how I feel and let you know.
That should have been me in the promo *sob*sob* but looking forward to seeing you in it
Karen, I wanted to say thanks for helping to organise the Faithful Writer conference. I know this has nothing to do with what you just posted
but I think you did a good job.
Hope the sore throat’s better and doesn’t turn into anything else. (Mine usually turns into a runny nose and cough) Get lots of rest
why did they photoshop out your star?
Dunno, Bron! Maybe it was to preserve anonymity or maybe it was because they didn’t like it :(
