Pib and Pog

Friday, 04 July, 2003

This has got to be my favourite short animated feature. I saw it years ago at Unimovies as part of The Aardman Collection Volume II. You can view it yourself online (6 mins):

Two comic characters in what is ostensibly a children's program greet an invisible narrator. Pog produces a seashell, which Pib desperately wants to play with. Pog complies with Pib's pleading by planting the shell on his head. Pib retaliates with a submachine gun. The situation escalates until both have ample opportunity to take their best shots.
