Poetry

Thursday, 08 July, 2004

She went over to his apartment,
clutching her decision,
and he said, “Did you come here
to tell me goodbye?”
So she built a skyscraper of
procrastination
then she leaned out the twenty-fifth floor window of her reply.

Nice poem, but why?

It’s not a poem, it’s a song. And I posted it because I liked it.

Its a beaut phrasing..

Meaning is the space between people. Nothing has value, a jar that contains nothing has value to the one who wishes to fill it. What did you fill this space with.

I like the verse because I can almost feel it, the metaphor is so unusual and clear.
