Revolutionising anime

Wednesday, 27 October, 2004

This article on anime from SMH claims that in November the entire Astroboy series will be released on DVD. In addition, an exhibition will be opening soon called Revolutionising Anime: IG's pursuit of ultra-realistic fantasy in Chifley Plaza (details here). And, of course, it will feature stuff from Ghost in the Shell!

(Little, will you come with me?)

(Oh bother, Innocence screens while I'm at NTE!)

Crumbs, I keep forgetting to tell Elsie: has anyone else noticed the new Astroboy series on at 6:35am on ABC?

Well lucky for you I read Karen’s blog! No I haven’t noticed the new Astroboy series, but I thought there was one on in the evenings?

My sister’s ordered some special limited edition of Astroboy - I think it comes in some sort of tin set or something…arriving next month…

Hey Karen, looks exciting. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an AstroBoy episode. I kind of feel like I don’t want to watch them again because I mightn’t like them anymore and that would spoil some fond memories!!!

BTW - I’ve got a blog finally. Well if you can call it a blog with only one post!!
