Ripe for the harvest

pumpkin in our backyard

Methinks our pumpkin is almost ready to be harvested. I've been doing some pumpkin research on the Internet and I've discovered that Australian pumpkins are different from pumpkins in, say, the US. I'm still having trouble identifying mine. It looks a lot like the pumpkins I order from Shopfast (Shopfast calls them “Kent” pumpkins but I can't find out anything about them on the Internet). Methinks it's a type of Japanese pumpkin and it's not going to go completely orange, no matter how long I leave it on the vine (Japanese pumpkins are mostly green).
