On Monday I turn 33. It will be kind of nice to be cubed at the same time as Ben is squared (52). Well, for as long as it lasts anyway. He thinks 24 is a good number because it has so many factors. In my opinion, factors has got nothing next to powers. Certainly prime numbers are nothing to get excited about. I wonder idly if I threw a 25 party if anyone would come. They would all have babies and I would have to provide a crèche. If I make it to 26 that would be something, wouldn't it?
To celebrate 33 and also because Kinokuniya were having a 20% off sale to celebrated their 3rd birthday (and they are going to be selling Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for $28 which is the best deal I've seen for a hardcover), I went out and bought myself the rest of the Sandman collection (plus Death: The Time of Your Life and Endless Nights). I also splurged and got myself Conrad's Fate (Diana Wynne Jones). Happy Birthday to me ...

Happy Birthday!
I have a present for you, but I should probably just take it to Melbourne, now
Wishing you a happy birthday from the Blevins
Oh no! Just realized that I forgot to actually wish you a non-Star Spangled Banner Happy Birthday while maintaining radio silence in the midst of Operation OrganizeCake.
So - Happy Birthday!
