Two weeks. Huh. I'm starting to get emails saying, “Where-are-you-are-you-okay-are-people-DYING???” All right, I exaggerate. I'm rather irritated this evening, and perhaps one should not blog when one is irritated. But there you go.
Anyway, I haven't been blogging because I've been up to my ears in Things To Do—
- The Keeping the Team Alive Conference (KTTA)—that's when Ben's year at college get together for an annual reunion;
- A PEC Women's Fellowship excursion to see the Archibald Prize;
- The UNSW Bookfair;
- Going to the Snow Mountains with friends and climbing Mount Kosciuszko (which I can now spell). For non-Australian readers, Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia (and even that's not saying much);
- Visiting Koko Black in Canberra;
- Getting sick;
- Working on the June Briefing (I wrote the “In this issue” for this one! I rock!);
- Editing and maintaining The Sola Panel, Matthias Media's new blog;
- Watching Northanger Abbey with the girls from work;
- Going to Jamberoo for the weekend, and catching up Tim and Liz and their little girls;
- Missing Free Comic Book Day (and the Children's Book Council of Australia 9th national conference and expo which featured such awesome special guests as Emily Rodda (who wrote some of my most favourite books as a child), Shaun Tan (awesome Australian illustrator and writer of graphic novels and picture books), Neil Gaiman (of course) and the wonderful wonderful Jack Zipes (who I read almost religiously during my Honours year).
- Seeing (and hearing and getting stuff signed by) Neil Gaiman at Kinokuniya (which at least three people, being under the impression that I had no clue as to Neil's whereabouts, contacted me specially to tell me because I hadn't blogged about it);
- Listening to Ben and Lizz play at Petersham Bowling Club (to an audience of around five but it was lovely nonetheless, and I loved Lizz's cover of “You're Not the Girl You Think Your Are” and “1234”);
- Doing various bits and pieces for the C.S. Lewis Today conference (don't forget to register! It looks like it's going to be a fun day on the Saturday);
- Doing various bits and pieces for The Faithful Writer (which is a lot easier than last year because of my super cool totally awesome online database which I created with Zoho Creator (and whose existence confirms my total awesomeness);
- Reading Eva by Peter Dickinson (Robin Mckinley's husband);
- Reading Dragonhaven by Robin McKinley (and really enjoying it);
- Catching up on an awful lot of online reading of various bits and pieces—RSS feeds, Salon.com, The New York Times, Sam the Piron Man;
- Watching free movies and DVDs;
- Looking after sad husband;
- Trying not to get overwhelmed by everything.

Missed free comics day (one day!) but made it to parts of the CBCA convention. Took notes, will post. Or possibly scan if I can’t face typing them up
Hang on. What? There’s a Northanger Abbey? Of course, there would be, but I’ve managed to be ignorant of its existence. Worth watching?
RE CBCA: You could just give me the gist of it.
Northanger is pretty good! Mr Tilney is quite divine
Am in the process of so doing. Next up, Neil. But he might be delayed by the blog carnival which is eating time!
