The basics

Sunday, 12 August, 2007

I installed the Quizzes application on Facebook and created a quiz called “The basics”. It came out of this post and a niggling thought that people who I regard as my friends probably don't know this sort of foundational stuff about me. My thought was somewhat prophetic; so far five people have taken the test (including Ben who of course scored the highest but contests the answer to question 18, Bec, Jo and Bron), but, apart from Ben, no-one has managed to get over 60%. (And of course family members are going to get this sort of stuff correct!)

I decided to reproduce the quiz here. Let me know how you go in the comments. Or just do it on Facebook and save yourself the hassle of working out your score.

Goodness! I didn’t know the answer to most of those questions!

11/20. I passed! Just.

For some reason, I thought you were born in HK. I had no idea when it came to your birthday intl dateline (though I got summer right). And also your parents divorce (I guessed 9). I thought you didn’t hear the gospel til high school. I knew your mother’s partner’s name was Peter, but some reason chose Phillip.
I thought you met Ben at church. I missed the words “first full-time job”.
I had no idea how many times you’d moved (knew it was at least 3 that I could remember). I didn’t know what your favourite subject was (I guessed Greek). xx00
