- Finish writing the course for Training in Evangelism and Ministry (TEAM) on Writing. TEAM normally runs on Mondays at 5:30 however we got such a response to our Writing course that we're running a second group on Thursdays at 1:30. The evil thing is that the Monday 5:30 time will have less time because some of the weeks are going to be devoted to other things.
- Write something for the front page of The Page. The Page is the broadsheet that we are giving out to all Arts/Creative Arts students at Bible study. We stole the idea from UWS Campbelltown's Christian group. On the front there's a short article about something. On the back there's prayer points, the Bible study for the week and a list of upcoming events. I want to write something on Memento but first I want to watch the movie forwards.
- Write something for Salt, AFES' quarterly magazine. (I was thinking of something on The Matrix Reloaded.
- Work on the Introducing God site for Dominic Steele and Christians in the Media. (I'm very excited about this one and can't wait to get the content for it!)
- Organise the musical item for the girls' evangelistic dinner on Thursday 14th August. I'm arranging “Could He Be the One?” into parts which is interesting because I can't arrange and don't know that much about harmony.
- Plan a visit to my old school, St. George Girls' High, on Friday 22nd August to talk to their ISCF (Inter School Christian Fellowship) group on being a Christian at Uni (any ideas?).
- Organise the staff girls' retreat in September (I wonder if my dad will let us borrow his house for two days?).
- Make an invitation to the ECU's Supporter's Dinner which will be held on Saturday 25th October at 6:30 in the Unicentre function rooms. (Mike Raiter is speaking and the cost is $25/head if you're interested in coming!)

Re: ISCF - talk about how great CBS is, how great it is to meet so many Christians on campus and be encouraged. Tell them to take up opportunities to meet up with other Christians, to be trained, to grow in love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus and to take opportunties to share the gospel! So many opportunities for ministry on campus!
Maybe it’s my EU sensibilities here, but there are other unis to go to besides UNSW…
Also, it’s probably worth talking about the challenges of spending time with non-christians, the (maybe unprecedented) access to pubs, the pressures from parents to study, the time pressures of working and studying, and to not ignore your home church while you’re doing uni-based ministry…
Sounds like it will be challenging to fit it all in!
