Weekly timetable takes form

Thursday, 24 July, 2003

The beginning of semester is always stressful, whether you're a student, an academic, administrative staff or an MTS-er. Perhaps I should plan for this in the future, knowing what I know now! When you're doing MTS, there is this period of uncertainty when you're not quite sure what you ought to be doing. Things are happening and you want to meet with people and go to Bible Study groups but times are unconfirmed and people's schedules can change in half a day. Because I'm only MTS-ing Thursdays and Fridays, I have even fewer spots to play with. But so I think I've done well and my week is looking like this: Monday: Work 8:30-4:30 (meet Bec for lunch at 12:30). Bible study leaders' meeting 4:30. TEAM Writing group 5:30. Tuesday: Work 9:00-6:00. Perhaps go to ECU lunch on the lawn? Wednesday: Work 9:00-3:00 (go to ECU at 12:30 during lunch). Staff meeting 3:00-5:00. Thursday: Badminton (7:30-9:00). Girls' staff meeting (9:00-11:00). Meet Liz 11:30? Arts girls' link group 12:30. TEAM Writing (repeat) 1:30. Meet Karen 2:30. Meet Fi 3:30. Meet Marina 3:30? So far Friday is pretty free but I've been asked if I want to teach high school Scripture in the mornings. I've said I'll think about it though I know the experience will be good for me.
